New Chapter!!! YAY!!!
(I'm going to change up how I do the chapters from now on)
**Liz POV**
As I sat on the swing, watching my precious, Emily, Max came . . .
Max: "Sis, you okay?"
"Yea, just watching Emily, why you ask?"
Max: "I see that, but you look like you got a lot on your mind."
"Yeah, well I do."
Max: "What's up?"
"I don't know, I just feel like I need a fresh start. I feel like I need to go far away. I miss Ethan so so much, he was my life."
Max: "I thought you have already moved on."
"I did, but looking at Em, and knowing she's going to grow up without knowing her father, hurts me. I went down to the cemetery last night so Em can see Ethan's grave . . ."
Max: "Why did you take her down there? He didn't want her, remember he didn't claim her?"
"Yea, I remember but regardless, he's her father. I just feel as though, if I don't leave this town soon, I won't never be happy.
Max: " Sis, it's okay, things are going to look up, I promise."
"Yeah, I hope so. . . Where did you go last night? I was going to ask you go with me, but after I got Em ready, you was gone."
Max: "Oh, I went to play a few pranks, but the feds caught me after my first one."
"Max, that's not cool! You could've went to jail!
Max: "You played pranks on me growing up, what's the difference?"
"Playing pranks on you got me in trouble by mom, playing pranks on strangers can get you locked up. It's serious Max! You're not a trouble-maker, I am."
Max: "Don't say that. What happened with Ethan was a mistake, but you got something more precious out of that situation."
"You are right, Emily means the world to me."
Max: "See, you weren't a trouble-maker. You was just lost, and needed to find your way."
"Awe, thanks Maxie, You are going to make a great dad! But promise me you won't play anymore pranks!"
Max: "I promise, Lizzy, I promise. . . Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure"
Max: "When did you realize Ethan was 'the one'?"
"Maxie, are you in love?"
Max: "I think, I don't know."
"Well, I knew I was in love with Ethan the moment I saw him. I loved him inside and out. It wasn't his looks that attracted me, it was his personality. How do you feel about Mendy (That's her name ^_^)?
Max: "Yeah, but every time I'm around her I get butterflies, and I constantly catching myself daydreaming about us married. All my dreams are of her and I, married with a house and kids. She's all I can think about."
"Maxie, You're in love! Are you guys even dating?"
Max: "Yeah, but we just started, I think telling her now that I love her will freak her out, what do you think?"
"I think you will never find out if you don't tell her"
(Later on that day, Max called Mendy ( a.k.a 'LittleCutie') over to talk.)
**Max POV**
"Hello, beautiful"
Mendy: "What's up, you sounded urgent on the phone."
"I don't know how to say this, but . . . "
Mendy: "Max, come on, it can't be that bad."
"It's not, but it could change our entire relationship."
Mendy: "Change it in a good way or bad way?"
"It depends on how you take it."
Mendy: "Oookay, out with it then."
"Mendy, I think . . ."
Mendy: "What? You think we should see other people?"
"No, I think . . . "
Mendy: "You think what? What is it? You want to break up? Spit it . . ."
"I THINK I LOVE YOU, OKAY!"
Mendy: ". . . oh . . ."
"You don't feel the same way, do you?"
Mendy: "No, I mean, Yes I do. . ."
"You do?"
Mendy: "Yeah, I had the biggest crush on you as a child, and as our friendship grew, my feelings grew."
"I love you, Mendy!"
"I love you, Mendy!"
Mendy: "I love you too!"
Mendy: "Promise you will be mine forever."
"I promise"
(A promise sealed with a kiss . . .Awe)
(The next day, Danny and Luna returned from their vacation.)
**Danny POV**
Luna: "Honey, that vacation was definitely needed. I can't wait to go back. Do you think the kids would be okay with the move?"
"Of course, StarLight Shores will offer them so many opportunities."
Luna: "You are so right, I'm gonna go upstairs and change. The kids should be home soon."
(Later at dinner, in between spoonfuls )
"Kids ... nomnomnom ... We're moving to Starlight Shores."
Max: "Nomnomnom ... So you're leaving ... nomnomnom ... Liz in charge ... nomnomnom ... cool."
Luna: "No ... nomnomnom ... We're all moving to Starlight Shores."
Max: "Nomnomnom ... The hell if we are."
***Max POV**
Danny & Liz : "*cough* MAX!"
"What? You guys can't just expect me to drop my life here and move!"
Liz: "Max, this is the new beginning (ah ha ... new beginning ...that's the title) I was talking about. I'm all down for it."
Danny: "Forget all that, when did someone give you permission to curse at your mother and I? Dear, are you gonna say something?"
Luna: " 8 . . . . . 7 . . . . . 6"
Danny: "Max, Go to your room, now."
"What? I was just saying, you can't do that to me, I DO have a life here."
Luna: "3 . . . . . 2 . . . . . 1 . . . Go . . . . . to . . . . . your room!"
"Fine"
Liz: "Just so you know, I'm cool with it."
As I sat in my room, all I could think about was Mendy. My family thinks I could just pack up and move, without her, without my love. While I was caught up in my thoughts my mother walked in. What could she want.
Luna: "Max, We need to talk, but first, you owe me and your father an apology."
"Mom, I'm sorry I swore at dinner, but please don't make me move. I can't leave!"
Luna: "Max, Starlight Shores has so many new opportunities for all of us, you will thank us in the end."
"Unless Mendy is there, I won't be thanking anyone."
Luna: "What does she have to do with anything, you can make all new friends Max. You're a bright young man, it'll be easy for you."
"She's not just my friend, mom. She's my soulmate. I LOVE HER MOM!"
Luna: "Max, what do you know about love, you're a teenager. You'll find many wonderful girls in Starlight Shores. Maybe you'll find someone who has brighter future than Mendy. She was a papergirl.
"DON'T TALK ABOUT HER LIKE THAT! She was the only person, besides Liz, who talked to me! You and Dad barely paid any attention to me. "
Luna: "Max, that's nonsense, We're leaving tomorrow morning and that's final!"
After she left my room, I instantly called Mendy. I couldn't live without her so I knew what I had to do. She snuck out of her house and rushed right over.
(I know she looks older, but they're on a hill)
Mendy: "Hey love, what's so important?"
"I don't know how to tell you, but I'm moving tomorrow."
Mendy: "But...what about us"
(I gotta change his shirt. He looks like he has man-boobs)
"Babe, I promise on my life, that we will be together until the end of time."
Mendy: "That's not possible, your moving tomorrow and my mother isn't gonna let me move to a whole new town with you, and I'm sure your parents aren't gonna let you stay, unless like we're married. haha."
"Then maybe we should get married."
Mendy: "What?? We're too young!"
"But, we're in love. I know I want to be with you for the rest of my life, do you feel the same?"
Mendy: "Of course I do, but. . ."
"But nothing, We're soulmates, so why not make it official?"
Can we do that? Being teenagers and all?
"Well, lets see . . . "
Mendy: "Max? What are you doing?"
(Don't mind the time change . . . )
"Mendy, I love you with all my heart, and if my family is forcing me to move, I will be moving with you as my wife."
Mendy: "Max?"
"Mendy, Will you marry me?"
(Mendy's Epic Face)
Mendy: "Yes!"
"Great! Now to tell my parents . . ."
**Luna's POV**
After a long flight across the country, we finally made it to our new home in Starlight Shores, California. But, as I was taking in the view of our new town, I saw something that wasn't right. How could I have missed her, this whole time?
I walked over to Max, I knew this was his doing.
"Max, Mendy shouldn't be here! Her mother must be worried sick!"
Max: "Her mother is perfectly fine with her being her."
"What kind of mother allows her daughter to go all the way across the country just to see her boyfriend off?"
Max: "They mother who allows her daughter to be with her FIANCE!"
"FIANCE!! What you mean?? WHO is her fiance? Max?!"
Max: "I'M her fiance and we're getting married. YOU said I had to move to this STUPID town with the family, and I DID. YOU didn't say I had to break-up with Mendy, or I couldn't marry her. She's my soul-mate and we're gonna be together!"
Mendy: *Maybe I should walk away*
"Who the hell do you think you're talking to?!"
Max: "I'm done with this."
**Max's POV**
I was embarrassed my mother yelled at me about Mendy, in front of Mendy. I had to talk to her.
Mendy: "I don't think we should've did this, Max. Maybe I should go back home.
"NO, We love each other, I refuse to let my mother get in the way of my happiness!"
Mendy: "But I don't want to come between you and your family, Max."
"Honey, you are now my family, too. If my family can't accept that, then they aren't my family. Family is suppose to support, not destroy."
Mendy: "Awe, but . . . "
"Don't worry, my mother will come around, we just gotta be patient."
Mendy: "I hope your right."
(After the family got settled, Luna thought it was time to teach Liz how to drive, and it gave them some time to talk.)
**Luna's POV**
"You're doing good honey, keep you eyes on the road and relax."
Liz: "Thanx, mom! I really appreciate it, but I overheard you and Max, I think it's beautiful."
"You're young too. What Max and Mendy have is not love, it's lust. They are too young to know what love is."
Liz: "I hate to disagree, but Max really loves her. Before you and dad came back from y'all vacation, he came and talked to me. I could tell in his eyes he loves that girl."
(After the girls left, Danny thought it was time for him and Max to go out and have a talk. So he had Mendy stay at home and watch Emily and they left.)
**Danny's POV**
Max: "How I'm doing dad?"
"You're doing great, but this isn't why I agreed to teach you to drive."
Max: "You're against me and Mendy's marriage too?"
"No, I know how you feel. You're mother and I we're in love at your age, but her mother was against it cause she felt we we're too young."
Max: "So mom is a hypocrite?! Great, So because she couldn't get married when she wanted to, she's gonna deny me the right?"
"That's not it Max. You are our baby boy, and you're already in love. Your mother feels like she's losing her baby."
**Luna's POV**
"He's my baby boy, and he's too young to get married!"
Liz: "Max is a teenager, seems to me your scared to see him grow up."
"What if I am? Is that wrong? You're my baby and you had a baby, I don't want Max to do the same."
Liz: "I was confused, Max is smart mom. He knows what he's doing. Trust him, let him grow up, he'll always be your baby boy, like I'll always be you're baby girl."
**Danny's POV**
Max: "Well I wish she would know, I won't do nothing to hurt her. She'll always be my mom. Nothing's gonna change, I'll just have a wife."
"I know, but you need to stop talking to your mother like that! She'll come around, just give her time."
Max: "I hope you're right."
(While everyone was out driving, Mendy sat on the couch thinking to her self.)
**Mendy's POV**
I love Max, but I don't think this is gonna work. His mother clearly doesn't like me and I don't wanna come between a mother and son. But, if I leave, I'll feel like I've made the biggest mistake of my life. What am I talking about "if", I don't have any money. I'm stuck in this town. I wish Max had never proposed. What am I gonna do? Maybe I should cook for everyone, to show I can help out around the house. What you think Emily? Would that ease up some of the tension?
Emilly: *She's definitely crazy*
(So cooking is what Mendy did.)
As I finished making the family a salad, Danny came over to me.
Danny: "Mendy, I want to apologize for my wife and her actions. It's just that she loves Max and wants whats best for him."
"Mr. Baxter, it's no big deal, I love your son and I wish to marry him and grow old with him. And it would make us very happy if we could have you and Mrs. Baxter's blessing."
Danny: "Well you have my blessing, Mrs. Baxter is a whole different story."
"Thank you Mr. Baxter!"
The view from their backyard.
(During dinner, things were kinda tense)
**Luna's POV**
As I sat down at the table, all I could think about was my talk with Lizzy. Maybe she was right, maybe I was just afraid of my baby boy becoming a man. Dinner was quiet, no one spoke, just ate. After a few more minutes of silence, I decided to make things right.
"Mendy, Can I speak with you in the kitchen?"
Mendy: "..Su..Sure"
"I would like to say, I'm sorry for the the things I said. It wasn't to offend you, but I don't regret anything I said. I do feel you guys are too young to get married, but I understand how you feel. Me and my husband were the same way when we were you guys age, and my mother was against it. I don't want Max to repel me any more than he already is. I am willing to let go and give you guys my blessing to get married. Treat my little boy right."
Mendy: "Thank you so much Mrs. Baxter. You don't know how much this means to us."
After that talk with Mendy, I felt a great deal of relief, but I felt like I was getting old. So in bed I decided to talk to Danny.
"Honey, Do I look old?"
Danny: "No you're as stunning as the first day I saw you, what's with you obsessing about your looks?"
"My babies are growing up, I don't have anyone to take care of anymore."
Danny: "We have little Em."
"Yea, for now, Who knows when she'll feel like moving out or if she will move out."
Danny: "Well do you wanna have another baby?"
"Oh, goodness no, I think I want to adopt. I can give a less fortunate child all the love they never got."
Danny: "Okay, we'll look into that."
(While everyone was sleeping, a burglar broke into their house.)
(I also think this is BEATIFUL! It's a fountain outside their house.)
(The burglar walked right through the house...which didn't have an alarm...And I sent Danny to go fight him but he just followed him/her)
(The burglar stole a freaking car! and . . . )
(Danny freaked out)
(Then the police came, they fought, the police won, but the burglar got away -_-)
(That whole fiasco took ALL night, so in the morning, Luna went to talk to Max.)
**Luna's POV)
"Max, I'm sure Mendy has already told you, but I give you my blessing to follow true love."
Max: "Seriously, Mom?"
"Yes, son. I realize I have to let you grow up and start your life."
Max: "Mom, thank you so much! And I'm sorry for being so rude and disrespectful, Can you forgive me?"
"Sure son, just don't let it happen again!"
Max: "Sure thing, mom!"
"But just know, you will ALWAYS be my little man."
Max: "You're GROWN little man."
(Thumbs up and a cyber cookie for everyone who knows where that line is from)

That's the end of the chapter. I'm sorry it took sooo long, but it was pretty tough. I wanted so bad to add more drama. But I have HUGE plans for the next chapter. Hope this chapter didn't bore you guys too much! Please give feedback and comments!
